Hyundai will introduce an updated version of the Palisade next week at the New York auto show.
This teaser photo shows a glimpse of the redesigned front of the car.
We expect the 2023 Palisade to go on sale in the U.S. later this year.
Hyundai’s three-row Palisade SUV already has a special front-end design and it will receive a significant upgrade in 2023 if this teaser photo is any indication. The 2023 Hyundai Palisade will make its official debut on April 13 at the New York auto show, and we expect to have a few interior updates.
Images released by Hyundai show that the grille has a more complex texture and chrome-plated contours of different shapes, while the new lighting system has a large vertical strip of lights that can be daytime running lights or LEDs. Hyundai hasn’t talked about the interior yet, but we think the updated Palisade may have new upholstery options and a few additional technology features. Hyundai says that this image shows the top Calligraphy model; The new version will still be available at the SE, SEL and Limited cutting levels.
We don’t anticipate any changes to the Palisade’s powertrain, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V-6 engine available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. A hybrid model remains visibly absent from the lineup, as Hyundai sells gasoline-powered versions of both the Santa Fe and Tucson, but we haven’t heard any recent rumors about the Palisade hybrid.
The closely related Kia Telluride, which shares the platform and powertrain with the Palisade, is also likely to receive some improvements for 2023, but Kia has yet to confirm the launch of that model.
